Daniella Shimunov is the founder of Mastery Mentors and the course instructor for Master LSAT, a premier LSAT prep program dedicated to helping aspiring law students achieve top scores and gain admission to their dream law schools. A licensed and practicing attorney, Daniella is known not only for her deep legal expertise but also for her unwavering commitment to mentorship and education. Her unique approach to LSAT preparation goes beyond test-taking strategies—she instills confidence, discipline, and a winning mindset in each of her students. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Philosophy from St. John’s University, completing her degree in just three and a half years. She then pursued her Juris Doctorate at St. John’s University School of Law, graduating in 2023. While excelling in law school, she gained invaluable hands-on experience through internships at multiple law offices, where she sharpened her legal skills and deepened her understanding of the profession. Having scored in the 90th percentile on the LSAT, Daniella knows firsthand what it takes to master the exam and is dedicated to helping her students achieve similar—if not greater—success.
Daniella’s legal experience spans multiple areas of law, providing her with a well-rounded perspective that enriches her teaching. In 2018, she began working at a bankruptcy law firm in Astoria, Queens, where she gained insight into financial restructuring and debt relief strategies. In 2020, she transitioned to a personal injury law firm, where she spent two years advocating for injured clients and learning the complexities of litigation. Later, she joined an insurance defense firm in Mineola, Long Island, specializing in Labor Law—defending clients in complex workplace-related legal matters. These diverse experiences have given her a strong foundation in legal practice, allowing her to bring real-world insights into her LSAT instruction.In 2023, driven by her passion for mentorship, Daniella founded Mastery Mentors Co., a company designed to guide aspiring law students through the LSAT and law school admissions process. Through her MasterLSAT course, she provides students with proven test-taking strategies, structured lessons, and personalized coaching, ensuring they maximize their scores and build the confidence needed to excel in law school and beyond. Her ability to break down complex concepts, coupled with her empathetic teaching style, has earned her a reputation as a trusted mentor and coach.

Carrie holds dual degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Duke University. She began her career in international public accounting, gaining invaluable experience working with both Fortune 500 companies and startups. Carrie's passion for education emerged during her MBA program, where she served as a Teaching Assistant for Finance. Currently, she tutors undergraduate and MBA students in Finance, Accounting, and Marketing.

Rachel - LSAT Instructor

Rachel is a dedicated graduate of Brooklyn College, where she completed her degree in just two years while being part of the prestigious Macaulay Honors Program while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. This fall, she successfully completed the LSAT scoring in the 85th percentile and has already received law school acceptance letters. In addition to her academic achievements, Rachel has gained valuable professional experience working at the Supreme Court of Queens County and in the United States Senate under the current senator.
